After reading postings I used to wonder what the aims and objectives
of this news group could possibly be. No longer. Thanks to most of
this months offerings I now know and would like to share my
discoveries with the rest of the readership.

In short and put simplistically, there are two major objectives. 
The first, and by and far the most successfully achieved, is to
provide a platform for unemployable christmas cracker joke writers,
frustrated third rate satirists, failed commediens, intellectually
bankrupt philosophers, and manic control freaks. You must admit this
objective has been an over whelming success....
a cracking success...what!  Beyond anyones wildest dreams. It has got
them all of the streets....and on to this bloody news group.

The second objective, by the way an absolute total disaster, is to get
and keep the interfering middle classes out of all committees and
working parties such as, Ladies Moral Welfare Mission to the Drinking
Classes, Prison Visitors Associations, Social Work Support Committees,
University Academic Staffs Drinking Bothies, Customs and Excise
Support Groups, Poacher Eradication Committees, Game Keeper Support
Committees and other meddling class activities. All offering advice
and guidance on this that and the next thing in a non-directional way.

This one has been an absolute disaster. According to my game and
spirits supplier he is about driven to despair with them. Cannot go
about his business without first of all making sure he isn't being
followed or his customers spied upon. He has to spend most of his time
ducking and diving when he is not bobbing and weaving. Last night
after delivering my deer and drinks for the week he informed me that
my spirits supply had to be cut to 2 bottles a day. Apparently his two
leading distillers have been forced to ranch for the Queen at the
Bar-L because of the activities of people who should have been
spending their time contributing to this group.

Considering the garbage the meddling classes talk and the quality of
material posted to this group, they would lift the quality of
discussion from the bottom of the pan, where it know depressingly
languishes, to just below the rim. A vast improvement. Sadly, it seems
that the demented control freaks, sometimes known as net-nannies, are
in now in control of this news group and may remains so for some time
to come. And that, may I say, is to the detriment of every ones
quality of life. What we need and the success of the internet requires
is for you to report every net-nannie you come accross to its ISP.
